NEW BLOG!

If you'd asked me a year ago whether or not I thought my blog would be this important to me and my business, I don't think I would've been able to imagine just how much. That said, it was time to take it to the next level. With a brand new website coming soon, I needed my blog to be more streamlined, user friendly, and to, obviously, match the feel of the website. (Shh, don't tell Blogger).

So, here ya go world! My brand spankin' new blog! Please start following here from now on! Happy Royal Wedding Day!

Lifestyle | Tristan Turns 3!

Beautiful families. Happy faces. Smile. Sigh. This makes my job eeeeeasy! Tristan was my first shoot last year, as he turned two, and here we are. Little man is turning three, and his daddy let me paparazzi the heck out of them again. And oh my goodness, does Tristan love his dad! He's just what you'd hope your little boy to be like- sweet beyond belief, quick to laugh, and completely lights up at the sight of Steve. We headed to Homestead Park, on a sunny morning last week with Tristan's aunt and uncle to celebrate a very big birthday!

Having the opportunity to capture a family's stages of life for a second time is ridiculously special to me. Words cannot express how thankful I am for all of your support, Steve! It was so wonderful seeing you both and catching up! Tristan is so much fun to be around- such a perfect mini-you! Happy Birthday to both of you! Love & hugs!

Lifestyle | Annie { 8 Months }

Last year about this time I was diving into photography headfirst, and I really didn't know how to swim once I hit the water, but I was determined to keep myself afloat somehow. Lately, I've had moments pass where I cannot believe how lucky I am to be doing this. That phrase is permanently attached to my lips, and I feel it time and again as I am given the opportunity to capture love.

Sam and Jo trusted me at the very beginning, and I'm eternally grateful for them- their trust, their support. It is just incredible to meet people through photography who I'm lucky enough to call friends. They have the sweetest, most beautiful little girl, Annie, and another little bean on the way! Annie is eight months old, and the happiest child. She's giggly and smiley and just perfect. Her smile grew even brighter when she would lay eyes on her parents, who sang and whispered to her. A very loved little girl. A completely wonderful family.

And a huge Congrats! on ALL of your big news and life changes! :)
